Spire IV Proactive Logic The Spire IV features all new proactive feeding logic. Unlike previous Spire models, which required constant sensor readings from every shot (with the potential for adding in extra unnecessary spins while shooting, and could potentially result in slow rates of fire from a sensor malfunction), the Spire IV features the new Proactive Logic. Now your Spire IV starts feeding the instant the first shot is fired, and continues to feed automatically, without relying on continuous sensor readings until the stack is full. This is the same proven technology incorporated into the CTRL loader, which works more consistently and reliably on every type of marker. Spire IV iFI Wireless Technology The Spire IV has been upgraded to work with the Virtue Ace wireless iFI platform. This new feeding technology allows for a tight integration between the loader and the marker and also maintains backwards compatibility on guns without iFI technology using the new Proactive Feeding logic pioneered on the CTRL loader. When the Spire IV is paired with the Virtue Ace or iFI compatible boards, the loader maintains instant communication with the marker’s eyes which allows for significant improvements as both the gun and the loader are now synced together for faster and more consistent feeding, stopping and idle performance. And if the gun’s eyes are turned off, dirty or if the Spire IV is used on a different gun, the Spire IV automatically transitions to the new proactive feeding mode, which will automatically feed with every shot until the stack is full.

Coming from the original spire itโs a little weird getting used to the shell being split down the middle but it also makes for some super easy maintenance. Downloading software through the app is super easy. The thing just works. Swapping back and forth between rain lid and speed feed is super quick. It may be just me but I feel like it feeds a lot smoother while shooting than my previous spire resulting in some buttery ropes coming out the barrel. Would recommend.

Absolutely love this hopper soon as I broke it down to install batteries and clean the Spire and of course learn how it operates. The Bluetooth is really cool to have at your disposal to make changes pretty easy to navigate and as always Virtue prevails and makes me love them more with every purchase. The disassemble is so fast and easy it is extremely ridiculous I love it. I like it way more than my R2 and it can certainly keep up with my Rate of Fire no problem.

If you use the Spire 3 right out of the box, you will be very pleased with its performance and looks – it just works. However if download the mobile phone app so you can sync them together (update software, change settings), I found it very challenging to get the Spire 3 to link up (white LED pattern). Plan on spending quite a bit of time finding a useful YouTube video, then after dozens of tries, getting to hopper setup to toggle into the white LED configuration mode.

Im more than impressed. Quiet, good battery life, materials it’s built with feel pretty good in your hand. This thing functions flawlessly. Ten cases through it so far and not a single issue. Will it stand the test of time? That remains to be seen. But at this point I’m a big fan of the product.Only complaint is the lid for the loader feels like it lacks structural integrity. I could see it breaking.

Coming from rotors for 10 + years , this is a breath of fresh air . I couldnโt ask for a better looking , feeling , and better working hopper that can keep up with my axe shooting 15 , 20 balls a second . No jams either . No brainer buy it

I donโt know why virtue didnโt just continue making the Spire 3. The color selection was much better and the features are almost identical.I ordered the green/emerald color and it looks horrible. Itโs a metallic mix of green and blue and has a really cheap look. Itโs a sticker thatโs slapped on the side not painted or anything, and Iโve heard it peels easily.All in all, itโs very easy to clean and the audio alerts are great. Just give me the Spire 3!
