I bought this last year under a different listing. It is the same device/company, just with a new listing and I felt it was appropriate to make sure there was an accurate account of what you can expect:About 3 months after using it only in our pool, the motors froze up and would not spin at all on a full charge. After removing the intake grate, I found you can pull the motor blade assembly off. When I got the blade assemblies off, I saw the internal magnetic structure and bearings completely rusted out. The blades spin using electromagnetic force. The inside of the blade assembly is metal and magnetized. Both magnetic surfaces are completely rusted over which causes the internal part of the blade to rub and eventually seizes against the main unit motors.Having spent so much money on this “toy” we always rinsed the unit with fresh water after use. Due to the close tolerances in the magnetic motor assembly however, there is no way to ensure all the moisture is eliminated. This caused the rusting. You can always remove the blade assemblies after each use, however this is not indicated anywhere and really shouldn’t be considered a standard procedure.This design is bad and needs to be addressed. If you want to spend $100’s of dollars on a device that will only last a few months, feel free. I would HIGHLY recommend going with some other brand/model.

Purchased as a gift in December 2020. Used only 4 times last year. On the last use we had an issue with one of the fans/blades not operating. Was told to apply WD-40 to prevent any rusting. Each time we used the scooter it was thoroughly washed and dried before storage. Did apply the Wd-40 as instructed. The scooter was even store inside our home so that it would not be subject to elements of heat or moisture in the garage. Got it out to use it a couple of weeks ago and both fans are frozen and will not budge. Soaked in lukewarm water to see if they would loosen up, Sent e-mail once again to customer service looking for advice. Was told it was out of warranty and would have to return it for repair. Product was nice when it works but should have held up much better than this considering the minimal use and the utmost care that it was given. Too many dollars spent for this minimal usage.

We have really enjoyed the product the few times we have been a to use it since our pool opened but I came home for lunch today and the item was smoking while just sitting on my counter. You can tell the black spot with melted plastic. With the product just catching fire not in use sitting on my counter I canβt recommend this product. I have a video but having difficulty uploading.

We have purchased 3 Sublue devices and use them several times a week. We even purchased additional batteries for each of them and have promoted them at our resort’s pool because we enjoy them so much. The issue comes when trying to change the battery. We have torn knuckles, destroyed one of the original batteries (battery tab broke off so now the battery cover will not fit tight unless we use the spare battery.) We have been diligent about rinsing the unit after use and not storing the battery in the unit when not in use but the design of the system makes changing the battery extremely difficult.Purchased blue/orange, Aqua/white, All white units — all the same battery issue.

The media could not be loaded. Β After only a few pool uses, the battery cover will not go on. We have to use box tape ever time we use it now. I was as careful as I could be when lining up the cover too. The cover on the blade falls off at any little movement. The battery only last for about 25 min. But yet you need over 4 hours to recharge it. We have two and the white one is holding up a little better then the blue but not much. We do store ours inside and we are careful with drying it after every use. However the motor coating inside is almost completely gone, causing the gears to freeze up and not work. After looking at the prices for replacement parts it pretty much like buying a whole new one. So disappointed in the quality of these. When I tried to contact customer service Center and send them my pictures I had absolutely no response what so ever. I even tried contacting them on there social media sites.
