   Bought this to attach my camera tray to my BCD. The steel coil looks pretty sturdy and the coil isn’t as fat as the plastic / rubber ones. But the nylon webbing seems less thick / flimsier than an old lanyard I used for about 5 years. Yet to try this out underwater, will update this after!

   These clips are awesome. Ideal for using with SCUBA, snorkeling, or spearfishing. Before these, I would detach and re-attach cameras, mesh bags, gauges, etc. risking losing them if they sank. If you want to keep valuable tools attached to you, but without long lines, this is the best way. They’re light, high quality, and durable. Highly recommend.

   I purchased this to attach my underwater camera setup to my BCD, and thus prevent losing my camera if for some reason it gets knocked out of my hands. Many competing products use plastic clips. The clips on this product are stainless steel and the springs are strong – I think it is very unlikely they would open inadvertantly and become detached. The clips also have hooks to further minimize the chance of coming loose. They fit nicely onto Nauticam housing brackets, Ultralight arms, or Ultralight or Nauticam clamps. The coil itself appears to be braided metal covered in plastic. I did not see that mentioned in the product description. I would agree with others who commented that the nylon webbing does not seem to the most sturdy I have seen, but I believe that I will be more than adequate for my intended use. Overall appears to be a very good product.
