My set is holding a Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 (12′ 3″ long, 31″ wide, 13.75″ high, 63lb) with no issue. Easy to install. Be sure to mount on a stud (not just in drywall). Includes 6 large sturdy screws (use 3 per hook), pre-drill the hole, screw it in (use a drill, etc.). Took me about 15 minutes to have both hooks on the wall and tools put away.Top retaining strap is a bit short which some have complained about, but this makes to me since else it would be in the way when placing your kayak on the hook. So if you mount it high you might need a step stool / ladder to find the top strap but then again you’d likely need those anyway to lift the kayak up.If I get a second kayak, I will get another set of these for sure.

Iβve been wanting to get my kayaks out of the floor of my basement for several years. I purchased two of these and am really pleased. They were so simple to installed and my kayaks fit in them perfectly. Now I can walk through the basement without having to walk around them.

Compares to the very basic hook style sold elsewhere these are fantastic. Not only are they nicely padded, they also have a strap that secures the kayak so it doesn’t fall off accidentally. I have so much faith in it that I’m actually using them to store a second kayak too. I put the cam straps through the bracket that the original straps go through. This is great, more room for the car compared to if I put another kayak rack below!

It took two people to put it up but I guess you could do it by yourself it would be a challenge though. But it works really well for holding up our kayaks off the floor nicely padded

It took all of 10 minutes to put it up in our garage at our cottage, strong support, good material and love the pads to protect the kayak hull. Good price highly recommend ?ββοΈ

We are using to hang paddle boards off the side of a deck. Very sturdy; easy to install. Will be able to use for kayaks as well. Very pleased!
