Iโm LEO used the older bigger packaging version on a gunshot victim (9mm), victim was having issues breathing (possible lung collapse). Only entry wound no exit, applied it and seemed to help- just basing it off his reaction.Pros- super easy to apply and very sticky even with blood, was so sticky i having issues trying to unstick my gloves to it when I apply it it.

I hope I never to have to use these. I am a teacher so I wanted to keep these in my purse. They took a while to arrive. I wish life saving supplies weren’t so expensive. These are basically the same material used to make a large, waterproof bandaid, yet, very expensive for what you get.

Hard to write a review for Hy-Fin Chest Seal as it’s not something for immediate use. Arrived earlier than expected, in good shape. I’m satisfied with the product I received.

Can only speak for price point which is pretty solid, it’s a must have and great addition to any ifak.

Best product for operational efficiency in adverse conditions. Even if you haven’t practiced for this situation, you can provide a first responder with a life saving solution. Add it to your kit. Strap up!

I bought these to keep in my Six Echo Systems “Kicker” ankle medkit. They fit great, and I have trained on them a few times. They are very good occlusion dressings. Ordinarily we are trained to tape a glove on 3 sides over a sucking chest wound, however when you are alone and don’t have an ambulance’s gear, this is a perfect alternative. They are slightly harder to “burp” to prevent or reduce a tension pneumothorax, however this is usually not necessary. An essential product to have if you CC, or just to be ready for anything.

Hope I never need these but I’m around guns all the time and it just never hurts to be be prepared should there be an accident or act of violence.
