Foam prewrap is an essential part of every med kit – from the emergency hiking kit to the professional athletic trainer’s bag. The traditional use for prewrap is under athletic tape to keep the tape from adhering to skin, however it has dozens of other uses that make it indispensable for athletes. It has been commonly used in recent years as a hair band to keep flyaway hairs out of athletes’ eyes. Because it is easy to tear but strong when twisted, it is also used to create knee and elbow straps that alleviate the pressure on painful tendons. These rolls are sold in bulk, not in retail packaging. All prewrap is produced for IthacaSports and is comparable to Mueller or Cramer. The Rainbow pack includes 12 random, different colors and will not include white or natural.
- Can be used to secure cold packs and bandages
- Holds pads, socks, shirt sleeves in place
- Makes effective, non-slip hair bands for sports
- Each roll is 2.75″ x 30 yd of Latex-free foam

I am a prewrap rookie. It took me a bit to love this product. Once I figured it out, I really like it. At first, I was attempting to wrap it too tightly, it kept curling up on me and breaking. I have not researched it but I don’t believe that is how it is supposed to be used. Once I didn’t wrap it too tight, it worked great.

My daughter is a competitive gymnast which is what prompted me to buy this. At the time of purchase, she had osgood-schlatter disease. A mom told me her daughter had the same thing and used this prewrap for her knees. The rolling of the prewrap was effective. However, because of the severity of my daughter’s condition, the prewrap wasn’t enough to stabilize the pain while she practiced.

These are great! I use it slightly differently than what they are meant for. I use it after I put on my shin guards for soccer, then wrap two layers of this over the shin guards, then put on my soccer socks. Multiple benefits with that: 1. They secure the shin guard and prevent it from moving around during the game, even if I slide tackle. 2. Before, my soccer socks used to slide down any time I slide tackled or just during the normal flow of the game. Now they actually cling on to the pre wrap and stay in place. 3. Any kind of perspiration will move directly from the skin to my socks and not build up inside my shin guards. Highly recommended.

This is a GREAT VALUE!!!!!! I received 12 rolls per package. These are so expensive is sporting good stores , so to be able to get many rolls at such a big discount, this was just great. The rolls are the same as any other ones you would purchase they just are not individually packaged. They all come in one bag. Each roll is large in size so they do last. My one son uses this to wrap his knees before every game, just to help with his tendinitis. He disposes of the used wrap after every game. Do yourself a favor and get this if you go through a lot of the wrap also. You will save so much purchasing it this way.

Do you like scrubbing sticky athletic tape from your wrists after a workout? If so, you’re weird and shouldn’t buy this product. Everybody else should purchase this wrap and use it before applying athletic tape. No sticky wrists afterwards. Works 100% as it should. Even my wife could figure it out with no directions.

Really comfortable, easy to use, and soft enough on skin to not tear anything up, be sure you double up on sensitive areas though it’ll help out a lot more

My daughter needed this stuff for cheer. When putting it on, her coach said that this brand was actually easier to use and seemed sturdier than the name brand stuff. Really good value too! You get a lot for what you pay for. Would buy again.

I am old and need to tape up a lot. This always helps the process.
