I needed a hydration pack for skiing. I was looking for something small that would also supply plenty of water and have just enough room for snacks, sunscreen, etc. The Kitsuma 7 is exactly what I wanted! It holds 2.5L of water, which lasted me all day on the slopes. The water stayed cool all day as well. There is a small zippered pocket that I put my ID and money inside of. There is a larger front pocket with a vertical zipper. Inside of this pocket are 2 mesh pockets (perfect for snack bars, small lotion/sunscreen, and other necessities). It also had enough room for my gator when I didn’t need it. The pack stayed dry on the outside even after a few tumbles into the snow. There is a waist strap, which would be great when biking. However, I didn’t need this while skiing so I just tucked the straps into the outside mesh pockets. The chest strap was perfect and never came undone while I was skiing. This hydration pack is perfect for skiing, biking, hiking, etc.

It has a 2.5 l water bladder. We were going on hikes in Sadona Arizona. I’m 5′ 4. I drank half the water on a 6 mile hike in 80 degrees weather . Side pockets held two 16 oz extra water bottles and the front zip held my cell phone with extra snacks and medical essentials. At the top, a small zipper pocket has a key fob and room for a DL and $ I had no trouble filling it, it did not leak and the valve and magnetic catch worked perfectly. I’ve rinsed and air dried the bladder for future use.

I have a bigger one for dirbike riding and love it. I got this smaller one for music festivals and it worked so great. It doesn’t keep water very warm which is fine. The one thing it did do is keep my stuff dry. It’s not water proof but one day it rained all day and we put our phones in the front zipper pocket and it didn’t get wet at all. The inside pocket by the water was great for things you didn’t want stolen like credit card and id’s. It was also extremely comfortable wearing all day long. Loved my big one and now I love this one.

Seven liters is the perfect size! Everything stays secure and close to me, and is the perfect weight for biking, hiking and even some running. With the hydration pack full I can still fit my hammock, lunch, my Kindle or a book, and wallet inside.I packed it out for an overnight (see photo) where I filled up the bladder, packed a hammock, sleeping pad, small toiletries and snacks inside with light blanket, speaker, phone, extra layers and misc gear outside. It stayed secure and the bag held everything really well. The straps are comfortable, but the magnetic hydration clip is in an awkward spot where you can only use it if you want to secure the chest strap. So, I switched the magnet to the other side than how it came so I can clip it and it doesn’t get in the way.Personally, I don’t use the hip strap but it looks like it wouldn’t be super comfortable. It’s totally fine with out it, even packed out. After 2 months of use, it is holding up really well from daily rough use. Osprey is well made and can handle whatever it is you put it through.

This backpack is the perfect size for plenty of water and your essentials! It has room for bug spray, sunscreen, a small wallet, and even an extra water bottle for my child! I would buy this bag over and over again! Plus, it’s just cool looking! Tons of compliments on it!

I’m only giving it 4 stars because I wish thw water pack had come with the hose that detached in 2 places, it would make it easier to dry out and clean. No other complaints. I know I can buy new bag but they are pricey.

It’s durable, comfortable, breathable, and adjustable. It has plenty of space for anything you want too bring and water bottles don’t always fall out of the pocket. Definitely would recommend to others.

I wanted a day hydration backpack for shorter hikes and this is perfect! I can pack a few snacks and light jacket and go on with my day hike. It is light, comfortable, and perfect for petite frames like mine.
