Man, it’s impossible to find an HDR in the U.S.I returned the revolver since it was only 7joules and jammed. I tried finding an 11 joules overseas, I tried that Polish version of amazon, couldn’t translate crap. Was gonna ask friends in England to order and ship one of the more powerful home defense products then get a kit to upgrade, UNTIL I SEEN THIS BEAUTY! Omg! Heavy trigger but BIG PUNCH!!! 16 joules of GTFO! Thank you for offering this! The right side jammed maybe twice but when putting the selector in the middle, shot out the ball, so not sure, but LOVE IT!

Most badass 68 caliber marker/ home defense gun around! Can load with Live X extra strength pepperballs I just for some weird reason had to get a knife and carve out some extra plastic that is used to hold the paintballs in place on both barrels there was a slightly thicker piece that stuck out on the top along the grip for the balls as mentioned….it was causing the obstruction…68 caliber Rubberballs and Innert practice powder balls both shot out fine before doing any altering tho so I don’t know why it was blocking the Live X pepperballs …did a little research and it Could’nt have been the pepperballs they measure the same as the inert but I weighed them and they only weigh 0.05 more grams so not sure what it was maybe the dimension was 0.681/2 and that piece of plastic was enough to block it. Probably a defect but. Yeah super awesome gun just had to let y’all know Incase had a weird similar issue and thought it was broken

I very rarely write a review, but I’m making an exception in this case. This gun far exceeded my expectations. It is extremely sturdy. Very well made. It actually looks, feels and has the weight of a real 12 GA. shotgun. I fired paintballs and the rubber balls that came with the gun. Crazy good power. I wouldn’t want to get hit by these. Amazing power out of a 12g Co2 capsule! I couldn’t be more pleased.

The only problem i had with this was that the hds was leaking air whenever i put in and used my co2 cartridges. If you hear nonstop co2 flowing out and you can kind of see the co2 coming out near where the barrel pops. Then the problem is probable a loose connection somewhere. I opened up the hds and made sure anywhere the co2 travel was connected tight. Look on YouTube for disassembly guides for the hds and you can get a general idea of where to look. Other than that i shot at some drywall with the hds and it made a pretty nasty dent.

I purchased this as a non lethal option defense weapon. I’m using. 68 pepperballs as ammo. Of course nothing can replace an actual firearm but I definitely would not want to take a pepperball to the chest or face with this thing. Not to mention, it’s accurate as you can expect within 30 feet. No real complaints at all.

Oct 30, 2020 Amended: This gun is customized by the seller. Fine. It would be better if the people doing the modification would replace ALL the screws in ALL HOLES. They left a couple out of mine and the sides of the outer case won’t close flush.————— I bought the 16 Joule model of this gun and like it a lot. It’s heavy, like an actual gun powder round shotgun is, it packs a lot of punch, and with some of the harder ammo, like the stuff made from high grade ABS and steel, probably effective for home defense. However, could be lethal depending on where the projectile lands. The WORST AND MOST DANGEROUS thing about this gun is it has no safety. Sure it has the double-style trigger that requires both to be pulled to fire, it is NOT a functioning safety. The best you can do is get a trigger lock and use it. I think Umarex really blew it on safety when they made this weapon. It is definitely a gun you’ll need to really manage to keep accidents from happening.Do I recommend this item? Yes, absolutely as long as you’re willing to be extra vigilant about safety. It is well made, accurate for its intended range, and the CO2 activator is brilliant. Expecting a lot of use from the HDS.

Some actual metal construction, mostly the moving parts, sturdy for the most part and does have some decent power to the point where it barely has some recoil to it. My only downside is I tried attaching a real vertical grip to the accessory rail and it broke off while shaking it to test durability. Safe to say it failed the durability test as the picatinny rail and parts of the barrel and stock are just plastic. I’ve straight up thrown this against the ground twice by accident and it still shoots fine though. This gun will even punch through heavy-duty tarp and thin wood and plastic. Rodents beware!

I haven’t gotten out to the range yet, after I do I’ll leave a better review.1st thing I noticed was the weight. This is NOT a toy. The feature that allows you to pierce the C02 only when you need to, should be incorporated in to all C02 airguns. In my opinion.
