This saw lives up to the hype and we’ll work the cost. Feels like quality and well made. I’ve taken this on a few trips and can see this lasting a long time even being out in the rough wilderness. I found this to be a great addition to a more casual backpacking trip where we spend a little more time at camp and having bigger longer fires for socializing/drinking. This saw made light work out of processing wood we never would have attempted. This saw is sweet

I love this thing! It cuts like a dream. I have a youtube channel and go on weekly camping trips. This thing has failed to disappoint! It’s light, packable, and cuts like a dream.

I use this saw for cutting logs when I’m out backpacking/camping. It folds down small, but is easy to pop open and use. 5/5

I purchased this saw from amazon back in 2019. I use it for both camping and backpacking. This is a very sturdy saw, easy to deploy, easy to fold up and easy to pack. The blade cuts very aggressively and I can’t say enough about it.After 3 years of heavy use it’s still holding up great. Blade replacement was easy as well.I’m writing this review now because of a recent interaction with Agawa customer service. I was packing for a trip and I happened to notice one of the screws on the handle of the saw was missing. I went to their website and saw they had several of the small parts available for sale but not the screws. It’s sort of an odd shape so I thought it might be tricky finding a replacement at the hardware store. So I emailed the customer service address on the website asking if I could purchase a replacement. Within a matter of a couple hours, I received a response with a tracking number indicating replacement screws were on the way. No charge for the screws, no charge for the shipping, no questions asked. This is a GREAT company! If you’re looking for a folding bow saw, stop looking. You now only have to worry about which size Agawa Boreal saw you want!

I take it hunting and camping. Always comes in handy. Impressive how compact it folds up. Definitely worth the money.

Been using this for years so I bought one as a gift. Cuts very well and is quite sturdy.
Fredonyer it is! –
I use this as insurance that I’m able to get past small/medium sized trees (usually ash) that fall across paths at a remote location. It’s up to the task! Its closest competitor is the almighty chainsaw but when it’s 15F outside, depending on the size of the job, this easily beats that competition. It has paid for itself already and it’s carb has yet to gum up on me.

I usually keep my new and unused saw in my truck’s toolbox. I had not yet taken it out of the cardboard box it arrived in.About a month after buying it, I found out I was lucky to have it.A strong thunderstorm caused a large hickory limb to fall across my 200-yard-long driveway. The limb was about 8 inches in diameter and 15 feet long. I could not move it by hand (I’m 78).I got out the new saw, assembled it, and sawed through the log like limb in three sections to clear the drive and ended up with some excellent wood for my outdoor cooker.I loved the ease in which this saw sliced through that tough hickory.I can say from experience, it’s a very good product to have on hand
