I watched the prices on this hammock for a while before actually buying it, so I could get it on sale. It was definitely worth the wait; I found it for a lot cheaper than I could have in a store and I got free shipping! In an earlier review, someone complained that the hammock they bought on sale ended up being a SingleNest, but the one I bought was definitely at DoubleNest for the sale price. These hammocks are a BIG hit on my college campus. On any nice day you will see a growing number of students napping, studying, or literally ‘hanging out’ in ENOs. I’ve seen friends hang their hammocks between columns on porches, inside gazebos, and between trees camping in the mountains. The hammock itself is durable, comfortable, and very lightweight. It comes equipped with 2 carabiners, so if you have rope or SlapStraps you can hang it up as soon as you open it! Also if you are looking at the SlapStraps, definitely spring for the Pros; they have extra length so that you have more options of places to set-up.

I have slept out twice already since receiving my hammock and I love it! I think it was definitely a good choice to go with the Double Nest as opposed to the Single Nest. It’s just a little extra room and you can actually wrap the sides right around you like a cocoon. It was pretty windy the first night we were out and my back was a bit cold, but the second night I put a quilt under me and it was actually colder out that night but I was sooo cozy I didn’t want to get up in the morning!! Great investment; I plan on using it all summer. I also highly recommend getting the Slap Straps with it. It literally takes under 5 min to set up that way! I also love that it easily stuffs right back into the little bag attached to it. Often with things like that you can never get it back into the little packing that it came in but I have no problem stuffing the hammock back into its little bag. If you’re in to camping it’s a great investment, so tiny and light and soo much better than sleeping on the ground!

This hammock is, in a word, amazing. I am a good sized guy (6’2″, 220), and it has ample room for me to relax and sway in the breeze. Easy to set up at home or camping, and really comfortable. I was a little concerned that I would have a hard time getting it back into the stuff sack, but that was a misguided worry. You don’t even have to try very hard, simply grab the carabiners and roll and smoosh it into the sack, then cinch it down with the included strap. Takes up almost no room in my backpack, and well worth the space.

Just bought a second one for my husband since he always seems to steal mine. I have had mine for a few years and it gets taken on every camping trip in the summer. Super easy to set up with the optional slap straps. I enjoy sitting it it sideways if I want to see what’s going on around camp but usually I can’t stay awake very long in it so I end up lying in it lengthwise/slightly on a diagonal. I have slept in this on a couple weekend camping trips and it is much more comfortable than the ground, a cot, or a bunk. I suggest a warmer sleeping bag than you would normally use for the temperature you are camping in since the air on your backside will make you cold sooner. I only wish we had the right trees to hand it from in our backyard and I would use it every day in the summer!

While there are off brand products just like it, there is something about an Eno that no competitor can beat. Rugged yet comfortable design and it allows you to sleep anywhere there are two locations. My truck hitch and a light post; yep. Two trees like normal people; duh. Across a river if you’re a beast; totally. Great buy and I will purchase again once I need another. Going on three years so might not be for a while!

This hammock is wonderful. It really is made for two people and if I just tried to lay in it (I am about 5 feet tall and pretty petite) I would get lost. While the Atlas Straps are a nice pairing and make setting the hammock up very easy. It also works just fine with any other certified weight bearing ropes. The fabric is thin but sturdy and it came in good quality, I have no complaints.
