I absolutely love Tegaderm patches. We bought these to cover a rash on my son’s leg that was contagious. These create a barrier that bacteria and viruses can not penetrate, and allows for viewing through the patch to observe healing or current skin condition. They can be tricky on areas the bend and stretch. You’ll want to find that “halfway” position (the way you do when you put a bandaid on the knee or elbow) so it doesn’t get pulled too much in one direction or the other. Also, when putting it on the skin, make sure it’s clean and dry because the sticky adhesive part is only on the edges, not in the center window. So if it doesn’t stick along that outer 1/4”, it’ll pull off in that area.Take your time pulling the paper strip off the top, ensuring that the edges are sticking before you continue along the way. If one part (particularly a corner) doesn’t stick, it will ball up and you’ll have to start with a new patch. These also work well over medication patches that have a tendency to fall off in the shower or if they are rubbed too much by clothing. Such a fantastic invention!!

I had some serious leg surgery 2 weeks ago. My doctor team sent me home with a few of these bandages and gauze pads and told me to change them out every other day. When I ran out of the tegaderm, I thought I could just use medical tape. BAD idea! As a male, tape hurt like crazy, taking it off. My local stores didn’t sell tegaderm of this size, but I found them with ease on amazon! Somehow they stick to your skin very well, but when it’s time to remove, it comes off with ease and zero pain!Even though I’m suppose to get my staples taken out today, I’m thinking about ordering another box of these for future accidents. I’m sure these would be great for kids too.

I purchased these exact Tegaderm patches to adhere to my skin in advance of placing an Omnipod insulin pod on my body. I pretreat my skin with alcohol first to clean away any body lotions or oils, then affix the Omnipod on top of the Tegaderm. When it’s time to replace my pod, I just gently perl up Tegaderm around the Omnipod and then lift the pod right off. No skin irritation whatsoever, so irritation from pod adhesive, the setup is completely waterproof, and works like a charm. I’ve never list a pod this way before it expires.

I wear patches that don’t stick well to my skin and cover them with these beauties. I’m so thankful I found these!!I have sensitive skin and I don’t break out or get a burn from the sticky either. I also wear them in the shower with zero issues.I used to wear them on my tummy areas until I lost quite a bit of weight, so my hubby helps me put them on my tushy. I switch checks every other day as to not get any un-needed skin irritation.Oh, and different size (whatever your covering) can be important as well. I’ve tried to cut these in half and I have found they are quite delicate to cut with regular scissors. The film is so thin in the very center of the patch that I have ruined a couple thinking I might get two out of one. I was wrong. Lol.These are really great though and I highly recommend them!

I love the fact that it’s clear that you’re able to see your rooms after surgery this is what they used while I had stitches and Staples in me and it lasted for over 5 days of taking showers twice a day just cuz I like being clean before I had to put new ones on and they delivered it on time

Need these on a regular basis and can be expensive at local pharmacies. This was a good value.
