I use Freestyle 14 day sensors. They are poorly designed, but effectively continuously track my blood sugar level. I pay over $37 per sensor with insurance! I say they are poorly designed because at least 22 times in the past two years, the sensor flew off my arm while i was removing clothing. I had started taping the sensor on with cloth tape, but it irritated my skin and peeled off after I showered. (marginally effective) There is nothing more frustrating than to see that much money lost needlessly and repeatedly. I have fought with my endocrinologist about switching brands, or finding a solution to this problem. FINALLY I read the Freestyle website and they mentioned this 3M patch.NOW I am happy. I snip a small diamond shaped hole out of the middle of the patch to allow the sensor to ‘breathe’ and it fits perfectly over the sensor and holds it securely in place until I have used it for the full 14 days. I wish the manufacturer would supply these, but they don’t. This is a perfect solution to my problem.I highly recommend this product for use with the Freestyle 14 day CGM monitor dot.

These dressings are great. They are extremely delicate on the skin when you have to wear them for an extended period of time. I have use these for general every day type things like scrapes and abrasions. Iβve also used them several times over the last few years for a surgery that I have had several times on my hip. I have used from the smallest to some of the larger ones and they are much easier on the skin then a traditional style bandage even namebrand ones. If you need to wear a dressing for an extended period time I completely recommend these for that type of usage and they are also waterproof when installed properly. The only downside is they can be extremely hard when starting them to remove from the skin. They donβt hurt itβs just hard to find the edge to be able to pick them off but once you find that edge they come off without problems And 99% of the time pain free to remove.

Dexcom changed the adhesive for the G6 about, maybe, 2019? I noticed because even after the 10 days I was losing skin to the adhesive! ugh. At the advice of some folks online, I found these tegaderm films..I cut a hole in the middle for the sensor wire to go thru, put the tegaderm on my skin, and then apply the G6, being careful to align the applicator so the wire goes thru the hole I made. I get my good 10 days (it may be a little loose and/or peeling up at the edges, but for me, this is better than losing skin!) .. plus, for more adventurous activities, you could always put the dexcom overpatch on top of the whole shebang.

The tegaderm patches protect the medical patch I use well and make sure that the patch remains for the entire period.

Could stick a little better, but can not beat the price. Shipping was very fast.

Pay the extra few dollars and get this true 3M brand TEGADERM. The adhesion and waterproof protection is amazing. The cheaper stuff doesn’t compare.I wear a transdermal pharmaceutical patch at all times and change it once every three days. This stays adhered through showers and towel drying without wrinkling or coming loose at the edge. High quality
